The 2008 WROAR Ride was our most successful year ever for fundraising; we surpassed our longstanding goal to raise over 10,000.00 in rider donations to the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre / Multicultural Women Against Rape. This was also our best attended event, with nearly 80 riders registered. We enjoyed wonderful weather, not too hot. This year our ride route was a very scenic with some interesting twisty stretches and some peaceful country backroads. Before and after the ride we enjoyed a wonderful event; see the photos below.
